How PMS colour matching works
We screen print using the Pantone Matching System, mixing ink to your supplied PMS reference so the canopy carries your exact brand colour. Spot colour printing gives the most accurate match. Supply your PMS numbers with your artwork and we match the physical ink to them.

How to find your brand's PMS colour
Your PMS reference is usually listed in your brand or style guidelines, alongside your logo files. It looks like a number with a suffix, such as PMS 286 C. If you cannot find it, send your logo and we will identify the closest Pantone match for you.
Matching colour without a PMS number
Yes, if you do not have a PMS reference, send your logo and we will match to the closest Pantone colour and confirm it on your digital proof. A supplied PMS number is always the most accurate, but we can work from your artwork. We will flag any colour that cannot be matched exactly.
Spot colour and full-colour printing
Spot colour screen printing uses PMS-matched inks and suits solid one to four colour logos. Full-colour designs, photos and gradients use digital or dye sublimation in CMYK. We recommend the right method for your artwork when we quote.
Confirming the colour as part of the order process
Your colours are confirmed on a digital proof that you approve as part of the order process. The proof shows your logo and PMS colours on the chosen umbrella. Nothing is printed until you are happy with it.
